The Dilawri Group of Companies is currently looking for Automotive Technicians for Porsche Centre Vancouver.

A relocation assistance of up to $5,000 will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job Duties:
•Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
•Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair.
•Communicate with the Parts Department to secure required parts.
•Save and tag parts requested by customer or manufacturer.
•Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service repairs.
•Notify Service Advisor immediately if further work is necessary, if work outlined is not needed, or repairs cannot be completed within the allotted timeframe.
•Document in detail the cause and corrective repairs performed.
•Perform wheel alignments and adjustments as required.
•Road-test vehicles to quality check work performed.
•Responsible for practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice or Technician.
•Complete web training and attend factory-sponsored training sessions.
•Maintain a neat and orderly workshop and workbay.
•Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
•Comply with required health & safety regulations.

Required Education:
•Automotive Mechanic/Technician Trade Certification or Red Seal Certified
•Porsche Manufacturer level certification of: Bronze, Silver or Gold

Required Work experience:
•Experienced and knowledgeable with using the Piwis Tester
•Able to use PPN
•Journeyman experience working on Porsche vehicles
•Able to perform wheel alignments and adjustments
•Familiar with latest diagnostic tools and equipment available by Porsche
•At least 2 years of experience directly with Porsche brand vehicles, plus at least 5 years of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Terms of employment : Full-time, permanent, criminal record check, valid driver's license and current drivers abstract and must be able to drive manual transmission

Wage Range: $40.20 to $43.92 per hour in Accordance with the Collective Agreement
