In this power-packed hour, we use stories, stand-up comedy, vignettes, poetry, and song to explore some of the things we feel most shameful about. Nothing is off the table!
Our team is comprised of people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences: living with mental illness, experiencing homelessness, living in rooming houses, struggling with addiction to drugs and alcohol, and coming out as queer.
Through this performance, we are empowering ourselves by showcasing our diverse strengths, experiences, and skills. By allowing ourselves to be completely vulnerable, we are breaking down isolation and creating the opportunity to have a meaningful dialogue about the impacts of trauma and mental health issues on individuals and communities.
