The Primary School in Kayenje village, Mpigi District has over 800 children and only 9 teachers making a student-teacher ratio of 75:1. And the population of the school is still expanding. This has caught the concern of the community and the administration to invite volunteers interested in education to come to the rescue of the school.

The volunteer assignments include teaching, assistance in the classroom, mentoring and providing guidance and counselling service to the children, as well as any other tasks that may arise.

Duration of the project: 1 to 12 months. The program is running throughout the year.
